We continue to test new fun ways to spread the message about Moto Boy. As always, we do it through the music. On Sunday we arrange a exclusive gig in Hägersten Revelation Church where Moto Boys is backed by the string quartet Vindla.
At 6 pm CET on Sunday 25 january be sure to attend www.motoboy.se for the free live broadcast. You can also embedd the concert on your site and chat with other fans. If you go there now you'll get a little promo trailor made by Moto Boy himself.
This will be a unique opportunity for everybody around the world that can not be in place to take advantage of a magic moment. Songs from the mini album "For Martha", with classics such as "Pie Jesu" and "Ave Maria", will be performed together with self-composed material from the now one year old debut album.
090113 / Moto Boy as a Musical box
Before Christmas we published a mini-album with Moto Boy which has a very atmospheric and genuine aura about it and we thought that now is the time to do something more.
This is where the musical box arrive. It’s a nineteenth century invention and produces sounds by the use of a set of pins placed on a revolving cylinder so as to strike the tuned teeth of na steel com. It has an amazing sound and attraction.
In true Songs I Wish spirit we give away the music digitally and charge for the manufactured gadget. So $0 for MP3 and $25 for a totally unique musical box!

In the end of January, we change the church organ to the hard guitar and put Moto Boy, some strings and a piano in churches in Stockholm and Malmö. The concerts will be a unique opportunity to experience the mini album with a string quartet and piano in its right element!

The mini album "For Martha" is released on 3 December and contain 4 classical gems, such as "Pie Jesu" and "Ave Maria", plus a brand new Moto Boy song called "A Room Without You". Pre order in our web shop.
To get a preview glimpse on the record you can view and listen to the video for "Pie Jesu". It was recorded at the festivals in Malmö and Emmaboda this summer with a Super8 camera.
080602 / Moto Boy - What it was like to be with you
OK. So a year has past since we released the first Moto Boy song. It has been a great year and here we are on the brink of a new summer. In our part of the world the spring has been great and we've found that "What is like to with you" is a great song for amplifying the feeling of warm summer hearts and semi cold summer nights.
We figured it would be a good idea to give the song away for free to you and everybody else that loves the sound of classic summer hit. Also, with help from Andrea Kåberg we recorded a cool video. Enjoy!

Album time again! Wow, we are so proud of those eight songs covered in a wonderful hand made paper sleeve. The album is like a warm caress of hard hammering synth carpets and wonderful Marr-ish guitars. Occasionally banal, often disturbing and frequently brilliant. The artwork is designed by Robert Svensson and is with its delicate sense and bright manner made to be a contrast to the darker musical direction.

The LK took a flight across the Atlantic today and we are very jealous. To keep us working and to cheer us up they were kind enough to leave a new video behind. The song featured has the brilliant name Stop being perfect and is a bonus track on the US release of the album Vs the snow. We figured it would be a great idea to release this as a video single. Moto boy will open for Smashing pumpkins at Hovet in Stockholm, 1 March. We are thrilled, it will be great fun. Haha. Also, the Moto boy album will be released in Denmark, Norway and Finland in March. And we are going to Italy in April to say hello to the spring and do some Moto shows. The road of sucess will never end.
